About the Role: We are looking for a Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will calibrate manufacturing, Research & Development (R&D), and support infrastructure equipment. Standard work hours are Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. PT.
This role will be located at our facility in Santa Clara, California.
Pay and Benefits:
$37.50 - $53.50 per hour
Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities:
- Perform calibrations of equipment in manufacturing, R&D, and supporting infrastructure environments (will require significant time working in clean rooms)
- Apply measurement science knowledge to diagnose, calibrate, and test measurement equipment in the electrical stimulation, time, temperature, flow, etc. to ensure measurement system integrity
- Proactively identify and communicate calibration concerns or improvements (observations, drift, Standard Operating Procedure’s) to Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance teams
- Work within an established quality system consistent with regulated industries and meet documented procedural requirements
- Work with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades, and technical associates with the dual purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturing
- Perform and document calibrations according to established procedures
- Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
- Support additional responsibilities as required within the scope of the position
Required Qualifications:
- 2 year Technical degree OR a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial/laboratory equipment OR CCT (Certified Calibration Technician) Accreditation through ASQ (American Society for Quality)
- Experience working within a quality system or regulated business with ability to adhere to detailed written procedures
- Demonstrated electronic and mechanical proficiency in calibrating, repairing, and maintaining industrial or laboratory equipment such as manufacturing equipment, logic control systems, pneumatics, electromechanical mechanisms, and drives
- Knowledge of calibration related regulations, standards, and guidance documents (21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, NIST, etc)
- Proficient with the functions and use of various measurement equipment (i.e. process calibrators, timers, RF, etc.)
- Proficient with computer programs such as computerized calibration/maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
- Effective oral & written communication skills
- Ability to effectively complete tasks both independently and as a team member, while working towards team established goals
- Ability to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
- Ability to work at heights of at least 15 feet and lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications:
- Successful completion of PMEL training
- Experience with Uncertainty Budgets, Test Uncertainty Ratios and Test Accuracy Ratios
- Working knowledge of clean room requirements
