Camp Counselor ($19.18 per hour)

CAMP SKYHOOK

Camp Skyhook is a 5th-grade overnight science camp in the San Gabriel Mts. that operates throughout the school year. It is located 30 minutes from Pasadena and Glendale. Optional summer employment is available.

Two Shifts Available Weekly (Mon-Wed OR Wed-Fri)

• 10am Mon to 10am Wed
• 12pm Wed to 12pm Fri

Duties include:

• Co-cabin leader for groups of 10-20 students
• Sleep in student cabin
• Model appropriate behavior and promote a positive team atmosphere
• Lead group-building and mindfulness activities, crafts, songs, skits and games
• Assist with hiking and meal time supervision.
• HAVE FUN!

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years old
• High school graduate
• Background clearance
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and proven leadership skills
• MUST enjoy working with children and have a sincere desire to provide positive guidance to urban youth in a mountain environment.
