AI Engineer - Now Hiring

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Are you interested in assisting researchers in training the next generation of audio machine-learning models? This research aims to improve the models' understanding of human speech and requests and make them more friendly and compassionate. About the opportunity: • You will be asked to record your voice as part of short conversations expressing different emotions, accents, and audio modulations and review recordings by other users.• This freelance opportunity is remote, and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.Preferably, you will have:• Based in the US or Canada• Native fluency in English• Experience with any voice-related work, such as voiceover acting, social media, video game streaming, podcast recording, audio narration, or any adjacent fields• Own and able to use a high-fidelity microphone for recordings (e.g., condenser microphones with no reverb or static)• Access to a quiet location to record audio without background noise.Other Preferred Experiences:• Experience with on-screen or on-stage acting, stand-up or improv comedy, vocal music, therapy, teaching, or life coaching fields.Payment:• Currently, pay rates for core project work for voice recording is up to $40 per hour.• If you are selected, you will be invited via email to complete potential screening on English fluency and voice-recording ability to determine eligibilityNote: Candidates based in the states of Illinois, Texas, California, New York, Washington and are currently not eligible.PLEASE NOTE: We collect, retain and use personal data for our professional business purposes, including notifying you of opportunities that may be of interest and sharing with our affiliates.
