What Data Engineering contributes to Cardinal HealthThe Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.Data Engineering ensures raw data is usable and accessible for the organization. Data Engineering encompasses numerous specialties of data acquisition, integration, and provisioning.Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to solve complex problems through data analytics.- Apply BI&A development methodology to problem solving (Define, Develop, Validate, and Implement)- Ask probing questions to translate business needs to build and design reporting solutions (metric management, dashboards, enterprise performance management).- Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of data analytics concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects- Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, GCP and PythonQualifications- 2-4 years of experience, preferred- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this level- Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks- Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity- Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve- Applies judgment within defined parameters- Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects- Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracyAnticipated salary range: $78,100 - $111,500Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.- Medical, dental and vision coverage- Paid time off plan- Health savings account (HSA)- 401k savings plan- Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay- Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)- Short- and long-term disability coverage- Work-Life resources- Paid parental leave- Healthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 8/15/2024 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
