If you are a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian, come work for the best and join the CarDon family of care!Regional Registered Dietitian (healthcare/dietary/dietitian)Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:• Provide clinical documentation in the form of nutrition assessments, high risk progress notes, and create care plans in a timely and efficient manner• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to ensure nourishing and well-balanced diets are provided to meet the needs of each resident• Participate in Clinically At Risk meeting weekly• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate interventions for the residents• Assist with survey readiness by completing RD kitchen observations and test trays• Must be able to travel to different CarDon and Associate communitiesOur Ideal Candidate Required• Baccalaureate degree or other advanced degree in dietetics plus internship• Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)• All Registered Dietitians will hold a current Indiana license Preferred• Long term care and nutrition documentation experience• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment• A passion for working with elderly residents in a caring, compassionate mannerRESPONSIBLE TO: Dining Services DirectorRegional Registered Dietitian (healthcare/dietary/dietitian)CarDon & Associate's mission to be the leading provider of inspired living and compassionate care shines through in a strong hospitality focus, commitment to innovative technologies and equipment, and community amenities that foster a sense of family among the people who live and work at CarDon communities.
