Respiratory Therapist  Nights Benefits:

  • Compensation: a base hourly rate between $27.93-$44.59 that is commensurate with experience. 
  • Sign on Bonus: $5,000
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: 36 Hours per week, 7pm-7:30am, Night Shift Differential: 15% of base rate for hours worked between 11pm-7am (only night shift position), Every 4th weekend and holiday requirement
  • Loan repayment for qualifying student loans with a maximum value of $15

REQUIREMENTS for Respiratory Therapist  Nights:

  • Associate Degree (A.S) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school 
  • Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License required, Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) required 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public 

Essential Functions:

The Neuro/Sleep Diagnostics Center is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. The center has 6 bedrooms, offers testing 7 nights a week. The center employs (4) Board Certified Sleep Physicians, (3) Board Registered Sleep Technologists (RPSGT), (1) Certified Clinical Sleep Health, (1) Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist, (4) Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT), and (1) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). 

The center is state of the art; using Cadwell, ResMed, and Nonin softwares, a variety of PAP masks. The Cadwell system interfaces with the electronic medical record, which is Epic. 

The Center is located on the campus with around the clock security, and convenient employee parking. The building is both beautiful and serene, offering seasonal gardens, water features and fountains, a fireplace and sofas in the lobby. The centers appearance is reminiscent of a high-end hotel.
