Senior Data Site Reliability Engineer II - Kubernetes
Careem is looking for a Senior Data Site Reliability Engineer with extensive experience in managing infrastructure and applications on cloud computing platforms to deliver data processing, governance, and storage.
Skills
- Experience in architecting, developing, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
- Proficiency with open-source data analytics technologies like Apache Spark and Trino
- Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, or Java
- Experience with cloud-native services on AWS/GCP
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure and applications on cloud computing platforms for data processing and storage
- Collaborate with data platform and engineering teams to ensure seamless experiences for customers
- Automate system configurations without compromising security and reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations and improve incident response
Education
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
