About Carry

At Carry, we combine a deep understanding of tax strategies and retirement accounts with technology and automation to help our clients build wealth and unlock tax savings. Our first product was a “Solo” 401(k) for self-employed business owners and modern professionals, and we have continued on that momentum to build additional financial products and unlock tax efficient strategies across multiple asset types.

As a team, we are client-focused, providing education on different tax strategies and products, building products and services to help clients execute on these strategies, and closing the loop with tax filing services and support.

The Role

For this role, we are hiring an operator at Carry to run a fast growing business unit, our "VIP" services team. This specific business unit is already at $250K+ in ARR, growing 25% monthly and is on track to ~at least~ 5x in the next year. The role reports directly to the founder/CEO and is based out of our Williamsburg, NYC office.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has operated an agency, small startup, or managed a service-oriented team before

  • Is down to both get their hands dirty & work with individual clients, while also managing and growing a team

  • Has experience in the financial services industry (ideally consumer finance, with one of bookkeeping, tax or investment advice)

  • Is excited to collaborate cross-functionally as we build the next generation of tax / fintech software tools

Software you’ll use:

  • QuickBooks, LayerFi, ProConnect, CCH, TaxDome

  • Front, Slack, Retool

  • Our own fintech stack and software products

Compensation and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $150,000 in NYC

  • Equity: Generous equity (stock option) upside opportunities in the business.
