Associate General Counsel
Carta is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to serve as the primary counsel for all employment and labor-related matters, manage litigation matters, and support Carta's legal team in achieving its mission.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Project management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary counsel for all employment and labor-related matters
- Advise on a wide range of employment issues
- Develop, draft, and maintain employment-related agreements and policies
- Partner with HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws
- Manage a portfolio of employment matters and litigation cases
- Support national and international expansion initiatives
- Work with legal team and outside counsel to manage litigation matters
- Coordinate internal investigations on legal risks
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Membership in one state bar, California Bar membership preferred
