Senior Associate - QSBS
Carta is looking for a qualified Senior Associate experienced in U.S. tax technical ability related to QSBS to join our team and drive growth in private capital markets.
Skills
- J.D. or C.P.A. certification
- 7+ years of U.S. tax technical ability
- Knowledge of corporate tax and QSBS
- Experience in venture and M&A
- Ability to address tax-related questions
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
Responsibilities
- Overseeing QSBS attestation opinions for companies and shareholders
- Performing tax regulatory research
- Interpreting tax regulations related to QSBS
- Developing technical QSBS policy
- Educating customers on QSBS status factors
- Developing QSBS-specific learning content
- Providing mentorship to analysts
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Collaborating with team members
- Maintaining expertise in Carta's software platform
- Identifying and documenting bugs
- Assisting with product development
Education
- J.D. or C.P.A.
- Knowledge of corporate tax and QSBS
