This role will support the SMIT Program under our subcontract with Leidos Corporation. The SMIT Program is a multi-year program expected to run at least September 2028. The Senior Project Coordinator provides support to the Program Team as well as fulfills the role of Project Coordinator. The Senior Project Coordinator is accountable for establishing and maintaining team best practices while advocating successful process adoption throughout the organization under the overall guidance of the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager. The Senior Project Coordinator will be efficient in the day-to-day operations as well as mentor, train and support other team members as required.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Fulfill Project Coordinator role as needed or special projects.
• Develop, refine, document, and communicate best practices and processes.
• Ensure compliance to best practices and processes through inspection and mentoring/training.
• Collaborate with the SMIT Program and Project Managers.
• Maintain the program roster and Organizational Chart and provide updates to coworker relevant information in collaboration with our Prime as required to maintain customer access.
• Provide administrative support to new hire process and on-boarding to the program according to the Prime’s chosen staffing application (Salesforce)
• Maintain Program Distribution Lists
• Facilitate/Plan Program meetings and maintain agendas (Monthly tag-ups, bi-weekly Program updates, annual Town Halls, Off-sites), and collaborate with program leadership to create content for the same e.g., briefings/templates.
• Manage deliverables of Program and Service Area Monthly Status Reports and review for content and quality

Education and/or Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree in a business related (project management) program preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar support role for a professional services organization preferred.
• Experience with a Professional Services Automation software (such as SalesForce) preferred.
