The DV-Services Operations Specialist with a Financial Operations Focus provides a strategic partnership with assigned services management by operating their daily services business with precision and urgency. The incumbent in this role has a high degree of resourcefulness, is an excellent communicator, thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and is process driven but flexible in approach.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Enable all aspects of Services by acting as a liaison between Services departments, Sales departments, CDW clients, and our Trusted Partner Network in support of service delivery.
• Provide full financial operations life-cycle support to customers and partners.
• Run Audit Controls reporting monthly and report up to management on findings.
• Ensure all available revenue recognition and costs is processed timely and accurately for month end.
• Receive, interpret and advise services management on a multitude of business critical reports.
• Below direct functions will depend on assigned duties, but could rotate as needed:
• Customer Billing
• Audit and ensure all customer billing is generated timely and accurately.
• Audit new and completed projects for billing configurations and SoW compliance.
• Partner/Vendor invoicing – AP Operational Support
• Support the lifecycle of Partner engagement
• Ensure PO’s are created timely as needed for Partners and Vendors within DV
• Ensure all DV Partner invoices are verified and processed timely and accurately for payment
• Act as point of escalation to assist and/or resolve customer, sales or partner satisfaction issues or questions.
• Provide timely and accurate system approvals.
• Initiate and approve financial documents for assigned customers or partners/vendors (invoices, credit memos, etc.).
• Participate in tool and process improvement projects as requested.
• Communicate financial operations methodology and other best practices to coworkers and partners as needed.
• Collaborate with peers with the Finance team to remain up to date on systems and tools used for processing financial data.
• Ensure the best practices are incorporated and shared.
• Support DV Operations vision, goals, and strategies.
• Contribute to business process documentation and optimization routinely.
• Contribute to Financial Operations team.
Education And/or Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• 5 years of relevant professional experience or 3 years CDW experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations
• Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
• Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
• Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize.
• Ability to apply common sense in performing a job.
• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Professional Services Automation tools
• Experience implementing process improvement projects
• Project coordination or management experience
• Demonstrate influence without authority
• Ability to effectively resolve conflict with appropriate escalation.
• Experience in a similar support role for a professional services organization preferred
