We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as the Grant Program Manager in the Community Grants Department.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FORReporting to the Community Grants Director, this position:• Manages, plans, organizes, and evaluates the Alliance's Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program• Oversees the processing of grants from proposal/application through post-award process• Supports interdepartmental strategic planning efforts related to the Alliance's investments in the community• Manages, supervises, mentors and trains assigned staffABOUT THE TEAMThe Community Grants department aligns the Alliance's community investments with our strategic priorities and the needs of our local communities. We also help realize the Alliance's vision of healthy people, healthy communities by making Medi-Cal Capacity Grant Program funding available to the provider network and local organizations that serve a high volume of Medi-Cal members.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULTo read the full position description, and list of requirements click here.• Knowledge of:• * Grant writing/making processes• Research, analysis and reporting methods• Principles and practices of program management and project management• Principles and practices of philanthropy• Accounting principles and budgeting• Principles and practices of supervision• Ability to:• Define issues, interpret data and identify and evaluate options• Interpret policies, standards and guidelines• Synthesize and interpret a wide range of information• Analyze and interpret legal and contractual language• Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision-making skills• Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Health or a related field• Five years of grants/funding contracts administration/management experience, including some experience working in the healthcare industry and one year of experience supervising staff; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifyingOTHER INFORMATION• We are in a hybrid work environment and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.• While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.• In-office or in-community presence may be required for some positions and is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below.The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).OUR BENEFITSAvailable for all regular Alliance employees working more than 30 hours per week.
