Centralized Intake Coordinator

Intake Coordinator is an important role within our Central Intake Department, reporting to the CI Director. The Intake Coordinator will manage the referral process and work with Owners to ensure we meet our Partner requirements. This position will manage all touchpoints (phone, email, portal, Owner, Partner), to give a best in class experience to all that we support. BrightStar Care is looking for a self-driven individual who has a passion for caring for the community and delivering premier home care service.

The hours for this position will be 11:30am- 8:00pm CST.

Skills needed:

  • Ability to effectively serve as point of contact for Owners and Partners through the referral process.
  • Ability to establish a working relationship with the CI team, Support Center Partners and Owners.
  • Process oriented to ensure proper execution of all business processes; ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Inside sales knowledge to identify opportunities with our current partners.
  • Ability to execute the referral process with a sense of urgency.
  • Assists the CI Director with special projects as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent computer skills with the ability to work independently in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point and other specialized data bases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, ability to read, analyze and interpret information; keep systems organized and work with a variety of staff.
  • Strong follow -up and documentation skills; is a self-starter.
  • Detailed oriented to flag errors and to question inconsistencies in information.
  • Ability to work in a Contact Center atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Case Management, Intake, Support Center or Contact Center, preferably in Home Care or Home Health environment.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills.

Colorado, New York, Washington, and California Pay Law

The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $20.00 - $24.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
