The Change Management Engineer II will help to affect change efficiently throughout the organization. This position helps fulfill the Company’s change management process through the systemic implementation of underwriting, product-specific, and industry guidelines. The Engineer II will work as part of a team of change management and configuration professionals, and assist in the design of our loan origination system and internal processes.
- Interpret change requests and design configuration solutions
- Complete gap assessments to identify changes between new guidelines and current processes
- Configure smart document requirement criteria with accuracy
- Configure smart document stacks and packages with accuracy
- Configure custom forms with accuracy
- Complete requirement and smart document testing
- Create issue documents and requirement specifications
- Complete Production QA and activation/deactivation process with accuracy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure feedback is implemented accurately and approval is obtained
- Effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities and bring professional and clear resolution to escalations, unresolved issues, or open inquiries.
- Communicate exceptionally in both oral and written communications with both internal and external audiences.
- Maintain knowledge of company-wide lending policies and lending guides
- Maintain knowledge and ongoing research of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional ethics and compliance with all Federal and State policies
- Translate business needs to Mortgage Technology partners
- Prepare the change implementation task/project according to the change schedule
- Accurately document the change task/project with regular status updates
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Experience working with and analyzing data for uses such as reporting or configuration
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- 3+ years experience working within Octane or other Loan Origination System
- 2+ years experience in project management or working on time-sensitive projects
- 2+ years of configuration or closely related experience
- Knowledge and experience working within the full life cycle of a mortgage loan
- Ability to understand and write excel formulas and Octane criteria language
- Methodical in planning and performing tasks to maximize personal organizational effectiveness
- Self-reliant, highly motivated and resourceful. Collaborates and is receptive to constructive criticism
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Able to grasp new ideas and concepts with the ability to integrate into current workload
- Must work well in a team environment
- Knowledge and practical application of Octane functionality
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
- Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from sixty five thousand dollars to ninety seven thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.
