Channel Factory is headquartered in the United States and has global offices across 20+ cities/countries. This position will be based in the United States reporting to the HR Director.

Channel Factory is in search of a Human Resources (HR) Generalist. The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Human Resources department and providing support in various HR functions. This person will play a vital role in shaping a continued positive work environment and fostering employee well-being and development through training and performance management. The HR Generalist also plays a key role in onboarding/training, administering employee benefits, compliance, drafting policies, benchmarking, and supporting growth and development initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, developing reports, like benefit-cost analysis, time to hire, and employee turnover rates.
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Train managers on completing Performance Development Reviews (PDRs), promotions, and raises effectively.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews and assist managers in developing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for employees.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding growth and development plans.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis for salaries, raises, and promotions in collaboration with managers and recruitment.
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Collaborate with the Finance/Payroll department to ensure budgets are being met as well as accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Assist the HR Director on all other tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+years of relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures. SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment/labor-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Experience with TriNet or similar systems is a plus!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
