In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Product but work cross-functionally across the organization to develop and implement a cohesive website strategy and experience. You’ll work closely with the Marketing, Fundraising, and Creative teams to shape, support, and implement projects tied to strategic roadmaps and campaigns focused on growing charity: water’s traffic, supporter base, and overall brand.

○ Identifying the best approach for key page content, such as our homepage
● Working cross-functionally with business teams to ensure the website strategy aligns with organizational priorities and that on-site content for specific business needs integrates well into the broader site
● Monitoring website traffic and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement; defining what to track, why, and collaborating with the analytics team to achieve your goals
● Collaborating with the Engineering Team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues, optimize site performance such as our core web vitals, ensure proper compliance with legislation such as GDPR and ADA, and ensure a cohesive user experience
● Developing, prioritizing, and maintaining the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) roadmap for on-site experimentation
● Creating and implementing effective SEO strategies to generate traffic
● Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices for website management, security and compliance, and content marketing
YOU MUST HAVE…

● Empathy to understand our users and supporters as well as key internal stakeholders
● A track record of managing and executing complex and multi-faceted web projects
● Experience with website content management systems, information architecture, and content strategy
● Experience with front-end languages (HTML, CSS)
● Deep knowledge of web analytics (Google Analytics 4) and leveraging data to inform strategy and drive performance
● The ability to make clear decisions that positively impact organizational goals and performance
● An attention to detail which ensures content is error-free, grammatically correct, and aligned with our brand identity and tone of voice
● Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing programs and platforms
IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE…
● Experience with front-end languages (Javascript)
