The Role

As a Corporate Controller, your main mission is to support our CFO and guide our team to execute with excellence on all things finance.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee day-day financial accounting and reporting operations of the business, ensure proper controls and processes are in place and documented.
Assist with annual financial budget and forecast preparation, including partnering with functional leadership on their respective verticals.
Interpret and apply accounting principles and procedures to ensure that the company’s financial statements are accurate and up to date.
Partner with functional departments (i.e. Operations, Technology) to further develop data driven reporting and be part of the review process to ensure accuracy and applicability to managing the business effectively.
Coordinate with external auditors to make sure audits are performed correctly and on time.
Identify potential problems with the company’s accounting methods and recommending changes to improve accuracy.

Talents you’ll bring:

10+ years’ experience in financial management with oversight roles, with 7+ years in a controller or CFO role.
Experience in financial services, ideally within payments, with exposure to businesses/organizations that are in high growth mode.
Expert in using financial tools such as QuickBooks is a requirement.
Experience in management reporting; developing meaningful analysis and narratives from financial data and trends.
Experience building out KPI and metrics reporting.

The base salary range for this role's listed level is currently $125,000 and $175,000. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members and alignment with market data.
