The organization The Analytics group at Chegg is a central group that enables data-driven decision-making at Chegg - we use data and analyses to support every business line and the marketing and product organizations. It is a team composed of analysts, data scientists, economists, mathematicians, statisticians, and engineers. This group is part of the larger data organization at Chegg that... focuses on enabling data and insights at scale. We use a world-class set of instrumentation, analysis, and data science technologies to transform our data into insights and then into knowledge. While the analytics group is centralized, we heavily partner with our stakeholders to ensure insights delivered are directly usable for decision making and ultimately add value to Chegg. The role We are looking for a senior product analyst to partner across multiple cross-functional teams to support Chegg's Enablement Solutions Org. Key to this role is having the curiosity, domain expertise, and technical skills to identify opportunities to improve internal search, implement personalized experience, and drive growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deeply analyze and model the user journey and work with business, product, and content stakeholders to develop strategies based on the insights. Over time, you will be viewed as the expert who understands how to approach growth initiatives and will influence decisions through innovative analytics capabilities. Responsibilities Partner with product, data scientist, and other analytics team to design and launch initiatives, provide updates on initiative performance. Conduct deep dives into user journey and identify growth opportunities Develop analytical solutions (templates, analyses, models, dashboards) in a scalable manner. Lead analyses and present recommendations to a wide audience. Requirements 4
years of demonstrated success in analytics and/or data science. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, sciences, math, statistics, business, or economics) required. Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred. Top-decile data wrangling skills; strength in SQL, R, Python for data analysis, modeling, and visualization. Analytical toolset including an understanding of statistics (time series analysis, regression, cluster analysis, etc). Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Google Analytics, or others. Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS is a plus. Self-motivated, independent, organized and proactive, highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple teams. Passionate about producing high-quality analytics deliverables and communicating recommendations effectively to a broad audience. Ability to prioritize and deliver within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Why do we exist? Students are working harder than ever before to stabilize their future.
