Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of children and contribute to a brighter and healthier future for all.Summary:This position will be instrumental in supporting the development of and assisting with executing strategies for various programs including Foundation talent management and researching learning/development opportunities for employees. This position will assist operations leadership in providing excellent project facilitation and operational support to the Foundation and provide highly-skilled administrative support to Senior Manager of Foundation Operations and department leadership.Responsibilities:• Must possess excellent project management skills, thoughtful leadership and good verbal and written communication in order to effectively develop, plan, and implement specific development projects and program duties.• Research innovative learning and development strategies to attract and retain high performance talent as well as to build employees’ skills and capacities• Support the enhancement of talent management throughout the Foundation; assists with coordination and logistics of in house training workshops, offsite retreats, professional development opportunities, mentor program, CHST programs and team building exercises.• Provide learning assistance to stakeholders by identifying new and innovative learning approaches to meet business objectives• Support the Senior Manager of Foundation Operations to partner with department leaders to develop and monitor staffing, recruitment and development plans to meet Foundation requirements, as well as, support partnership with HR while abiding by HR standards.• Strategic thinker who can recommend and assist in launching new initiatives as well as enhancing existing programs, such as the new employee onboarding, training for all Foundation employees proven presentation and facilitation skills combined with knowledge of cutting-edge adult learning techniques• Coordinates coaching and mentoring opportunities to Foundation employees as well as ensure individual and team learning and development• Develop and steward external vendor relationships including, but not limited to, a detailed understanding of the Vendor and the Contract Management process.• Serve as project coordinator and adhere to scope of project and budget including communicating project status, revising project plan, and escalating changes or risks to appropriate decision makers. Coordinate plans between internal and external key stakeholders.• Assist in the development, planning and implementation of specific programmatic duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Operations.• Analyze and improve operations processes. Work to improve quality and efficiency.• Provide highly-skilled level administrative support including coordination and communicating activities between teams within and outside department; aggregating, analyzing, summarizing data; coordinating and scheduling meetings; tracking/coordinating department programs; creating and modifying documents and utilization of project management tools.• Provide crucial input on project budgeting, as well as, maintain financial accountability and timely coordination for assigned projects while evaluating success and making recommendations for improvement.• Act as a solutions provider and customer services representative to internal Children’s team members and Foundation team members.• Perform additional duties as assigned.This is a full-time position.How You’ll Be Successful:WORK EXPERIENCE• 3+ years related experience required (5+ years preferred)• Experience working in a non-profit organization's development office preferred• Experience with project management tools (Asana, etc.) preferred• High level of competency using the Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)EDUCATION• Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredA Place Where You BelongWe put our people first.
