Job Title: Manager, Business ContinuityLocation: Dallas Medical CenterJob Type: Full-timePOSITION SUMMARYOur Manager Business Continuity, under the direction and in collaboration with the Director of Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity, develops and implements policies, plans, and procedures that ensure Children's Health is prepared to respond to events or disasters that may have the potential to impact operations. Develops, maintains, and implements business continuity and disaster recovery strategies including business impact analysis, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.REQUIREMENTS• Leads the Business Continuity team in the development, coordination, and maintenance of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans in collaboration with clinical and business units to ensure the ability to recover in the event of an unforeseen disruption.• Collaborates with clinical and business units to enhance contingency plans, mitigating the effect of a major disruption.• Directs the review of changes within services across the hospital system to assure the effectiveness of recovery procedures.• Facilitates business continuity exercises to determine the effectiveness of business continuity plans and identify gaps.• Schedules, coordinates, and assists with business impact analysis on an annual basis with clinical and business units.• Educates Business Continuity staff in the implementation of Business Continuity processes, standards, and training to ensure recoverability of processes across the clinical and business units.POSITION SUMMARY• Required: At least 5-years’ experience in Healthcare, Business Continuity, or Emergency Management experienceEDUCATION• Required: Four year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS• Required: Business Certified Continuity Planner (BCCP) or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Level 2 Master Continuity Practitioner.• Required: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) within 3 yearsA Place Where You BelongWe put our people first.
