We have built a flexible and diverse work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.What you'll be responsible for:Circle is looking for a dynamic Senior Finance Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. As a vital member of the team, you will collaborate closely with department leaders to provide essential insights into budgets, forecasts and key metrics to support decision making. You will also play a key role in putting together our quarterly analyses and forecasts for the board of directors for which our team works directly with the CFO to help craft the analyses and messaging.What you'll work on:• Maintaining and improving corporate financial models that forecast, track, and analyze our financials including opex budgets for each of our departments.• Contributing to monthly reporting and variance analysis.• Engaging directly with leaders and budget stakeholders across the organization to facilitate forecasting of key operational spend areas including headcount, compensation, vendor spend.• Playing a key role in the creation of quarterly board of director and investor level financial presentations in direct collaboration with the CFO.• Applying advanced financial analysis techniques to provide insights on critical and bespoke business issues, enabling senior stakeholders to make well-informed choices.• Contributing to the evolution of Circle's finance capabilities by being a key part of ERP and EPM implementation processes and actively seeking to improve finance processes across the organization.You will aspire to our four core values:• Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.• Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail.• Driven by Excellence - you are driven by our mission and our passion for customer success which means you relentlessly pursue excellence, that you do not tolerate mediocrity and you work intensely to achieve your goals.• High Integrity - you seek open and honest communication, and you hold yourself to very high moral and ethical standards. You reject manipulation, dishonesty and intolerance.What you'll bring to Circle:• Bring a minimum of 4+ years of FP&A experience, marked by a proven ability to build financial forecast models and analyze extensive datasets.• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, using these tools effectively to create meaningful financial insights.• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, how the financial statements interact, and an ability to build dynamic three statement models.• Exceptional financial and strategic analyses, translating findings into actionable recommendations.• Thrive in a dynamic, innovative startup environment characterized by rapid change and evolution.• Bachelor's degree, providing you with a solid academic grounding in finance and/or accounting.• Past experience in working with financial systems and building FP&A models in planning tools.• Experience or familiarity with tools such as Slack, Apple MacOS.
