Position Overview

We are seeking a curious, data-driven and self-motivated individual to join our marketing team and help us scale our customer acquisition machine. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Specialist will be exposed to all aspects of building a high-growth SMB marketing machine. This will include executing tests of new paid media channels, conversion rate optimization on our website, and email marketing to our database of leads and customers. This is an impactful role with high levels of responsibility in a rapidly scaling tech company, and a chance to work closely with senior leaders who have successfully scaled hardware companies 10x and beyond. If you are ready to be a foundational part of an acquisition-focused marketing team in a hyper-growth environment, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Paid Advertising Management:

    • Assist in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns focused on customer acquisition and retention.

    • Monitor budgets and ensure efficiency targets are met.

  2. Campaign Execution & Optimization:

    • Assist in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, email, and content marketing to drive lead generation.

    • Continuously optimize campaigns for performance, including A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and messaging.

  3. Lead Generation & Funnel Management:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to generate and nurture leads through inbound and outbound marketing strategies.

    • Track lead behavior to enhance nurturing campaigns that convert leads into qualified prospects.

  4. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Analyze marketing data (e.g., conversion rates, website traffic, email open rates) to track performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.

    • Report on campaign effectiveness and profitability, ensuring consistent growth metrics are being achieved.

  5. CRM & Marketing Automation:

    • Assist in managing the CRM and marketing automation systems to track customer journeys, segment lists, and personalize marketing efforts.

    • Help in setting up automated workflows that nurture leads based on behavior.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing or Business major not required. 

  2. Analytical Mindset:

    • Strong data analysis acumen, with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and performance data.

    • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

  3. Creativity & Problem Solving:

    • A curious, creative thinker who is comfortable experimenting with new ideas to find the most effective growth strategies.

    • Ability to identify problems and propose data-driven solutions.

  4. Communication Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  5. Team Player:

    • Low-ego and willing to participate in team problem-solving.

    • Adaptable and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment.

  6. Attention to Detail:

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
