About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Director of Enterprise Growth. To oversee Citizen’s enterprise roadmap and sales growth across our freshly launched citizen.com/enterprise product. 

This is the newest area of the business, with the opportunity to create and shape the future of the product. Expect to collaborate with a well-staffed team of designers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists to evolve and bring this product to market.

This person is a leader with experience in both business development and product development. This individual requires someone to get hands-on with potential customers, learning their needs, and build products that they love. This role requires someone with deep experience managing 0-1 enterprise products. Ideal background is in prior SaaS experience at a startup, or as a founder yourself. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic direction and execution of Citizen’s enterprise roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and achieving growth targets

  • Lead business development efforts, actively engaging with potential customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and close strategic deals

  • Establish a clear processes for account management and technical servicing to existing customers to ensure retention and high satisfaction 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and data science teams to evolve the citizen.com/enterprise product, ensuring the roadmap is completed on time and within Citizen’s high-quality standards

  • Define and prioritize product features, create detailed product specifications, and oversee multi-month roadmaps to bring new solutions to market efficiently

  • Mentor and lead a growing team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or the equivalent experience

  • Must be based in New York Area, Los Angeles, or San Francisco Bay

  • 7+ years experience total, with 2+ years having enterprise software 

  • 2+ years experience working in sales or business development

  • Experience building multi-month roadmaps and product specification documents

  • Experience improving existing businesses and building 0-1 products
