INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES ASSOCIATE - PART TIMERICHARD J. DALEY COLLEGEConsider joining Daley College IT Team of professionals as a ITServices Associates - PT. The basic function of this position is tosupport the computer hardware and software used by students,administrators, faculty, and staff in a variety of academicsettings and to achieve student success.ESSENTIAL DUTIES· Provides computerhardware and software technical support both in-person and remotelyto students, administrators, faculty, and staff.· Maintains, installs,and tests software applications on computer hardware throughout thecollege.· Submits help desktickets to assist students, administrators, faculty, and staff withtechnology related issues· Protects physicaltechnology assets in public areas and other settings, throughongoing equipment refresh, planning maintenance, installation,configuration, troubleshooting, and asset inventorymanagement.· Manages, tracks, andprotects equipment that is designated for use by students,administrators, faculty, and staff.· Facilitates use ofequipment for various internal and external events.· Assembles anddisassembles equipment on-site before and after classes.· Provides limitedtraining to audio-visual/multi-media equipment users.· Adheres to CCC CustomerService Excellence standards.· Performs other dutiesas assigned, including, but not limited to, adherence to afterhours, emergency, holiday and/or on-call schedule.QUALIFICATIONS· Associate’s degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Data Processing orrelated area, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience, with a history of progressively increasingresponsibility and accomplishments, preferably, in a college orcomparable academic setting.· Minimum of two years ofrelated work experience.· Knowledge andexperience with supporting both Windows and Macintoshplatforms.· Knowledge of allcurrent versions of Microsoft Windows (XP, Windows 7), all currentinternet browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari) including networkingconcepts and general technical troubleshooting skills.· Sound verbal andwritten communication skills.· Great team player andself-starter.We are an equal opportunity and affirmative actionemployer.Thank you for your interest in City Colleges ofChicago!TBD
