This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our London office at least 2 days a week. We are open to both full-time and part-time applications.

Joining us as a Payroll Analyst 

You will play a key role in processing and compiling payroll data, as well as supporting end-of-month payroll reconciliations. A major part of your responsibilities will involve managing payroll processing, managing our Overtime/ On call process and generating ad hoc reports as requested, along with preparing and maintaining accurate payroll transaction records.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Calculate statutory payments
  • Act as a first point of contact for Payroll & Benefit queries
  • Managing and resolving payroll-related queries and tickets through the helpdesk system
  • Creating and managing ad hoc reports and Excel files
  • Act as the point of contact and subject-matter expert for all payroll, queries from employees and HR
  • Supporting with the PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) process
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll procedures, related and driving processes efficiency

 

What you’ll bring to the role

Given the high volume of data analysis required in this role, advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and pivot tables, are essential.  As part of our assessment process shortlisted candidates will complete an excel test to demonstrate these critical skills.

Additionally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience of running high volume payroll (800+ employees) 
  • Solid understanding of statutory payments.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities
  • Accuracy in record-keeping and reconciliation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey relevant information across all levels of the organisation
