Facilities Maintenance Technician

OBJECTIVE
Provides general maintenance to the Credit Union’s facilities as assigned by Supervisor. 
WORKING HOURS
Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; start/end times may change based on team and operational needs; infrequent evening and weekend availability as needed 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of similar or related experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Valid PA driver's license 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Must be flexible with hours and days off.
  • Must provide backup and support to Facilities Specialist/Security.
  • Must be able to perform all opening procedures to include Moon building lights and walk thru. Opening the driveway gate and other opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Ability to issue vendor and employee temporary badges.
  • Escort vendors as needed in all branches.
  • Monitor Help Desk tickets to determine priority of tickets and handle all issues as needed internally.
  • Ability to analyze situations and problems requiring professional outside service and getting those vendors to repair or replace as needed.
  • Monitor all CFCU buildings, grounds and exteriors for any deficiencies. (Grass cutting, parking lot problems, snow removal, all exterior façade issues paint and other maintenance as needed).
  • Monitor all Clearview Buildings interiors for damaged or dirty wall coverings, paint and all flooring for any problems including normal wear and tear, fix or recommend upgrade as needed.
  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts as needed.
  • Handle all restroom and breakroom problems to include water and drainage issues, replace and repair as needed. Request vendor assistance as needed.
  • Oversee all additional housekeeping of all Clearview facilities and handle or oversee all extreme issues as needed personally.
  • Identify furniture issues and needed replacements as items become damaged or unsafe. Report to Management.
  • Monitor the lobby and grounds of any suspicious activity; conduct walk through.
  • Responsible for overseeing projects being performed by outside contractors.
  • Assure inspections of Fire extinguishers for all of our facilities are scheduled and monitored in a timely manner.
  • Assure emergency lighting is working properly and repaired as necessary in all branches.
  • Monitor AED operation, batteries and all upgrades.
  • Assure inspections of all Clearview Facility Fire Systems are scheduled for maintenance and are being monitored correctly.
  • Monitor all branch HVAC systems and make necessary adjustments over various control systems to include Win Control, Honeywell, and others.
  • Monitor operation of building backup generators. Schedule inspections, maintenance, fueling and repairs as needed.
  • Monitor and assist in the repair and all issues revolving around facility contracted cable access with Sirius, Comcast, Armstrong Cable, Inlighten and other vendors as needed.
  • Monitor that the secure shred is being handled properly by employees and vendors. Report all deficiencies to Facilities management.
  • Monitor buildings with a UPS system for possible problems. Set appointments for periodic inspections of systems in these buildings.  
  • Assure company vehicles maintenance is performed, to include inspections and periodic maintenances.  Keep company vehicles neat and clean.
  • Supporting all departments as needed in the transporting of equipment, document storage, Christmas decorations and supplies to their destinations as needed and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain an open channel of communication with immediate management team.

Must be able to perform the following tasks with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Climb ladders, bend, and kneel in order to access equipment and perform repairs as needed
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Reach overhead and below the waist, as well as grasp and manipulate tools and equipment frequently
