Talent Acquisition Specialist I

OBJECTIVE
The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the charge in recruiting, working closely with department managers to find and hire top-notch talent. You'll focus on delivering a standout candidate experience while making sure positions are filled quickly and efficiently!
 
WORKING HOURS: Hybrid Position
Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, based upon operational needs
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of talent acquisition experience in full life-cycle recruitment and knowledge of employment laws.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
  • Experience with a robust Applicant Tracking System (ATS); HRIS knowledge.
  • Strong technical skills across recruitment platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, focusing on organizational objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate and engage with all levels of staff to build and maintain credibility. 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and innovative.
  • Skilled at exercising sound judgment and handling sensitive situations with confidentiality.
  • Dependable with a hybrid work schedule and willingness to travel to financial center locations. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
Recruitment Process  
  • Assess and qualify candidates, ensuring skills align with job descriptions, and coordinate interviews as necessary, for new and replacement positions.
  • Utilize the Targeted Selection program to create and review interview guides and introduce the program to new hiring managers as needed.
  • Provide timely interview notes to hiring managers that are accurate, clear, and free from errors, while adhering to employment laws.
  • Follow designated workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Jobvite, to ensure consistency throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Administer all necessary background and reference checks, identifying discrepancies and consulting with management before proceeding.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Foster relationships with hiring managers to identify position needs and develop tailored recruiting plans, keeping them and candidates updated throughout the process.
  • Communicate hiring decisions to internal candidates and provide constructive feedback for future opportunities.
  • Coordinate new hire dates with candidates and relevant departments, discussing special requests with the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Systems 
  • Maintain electronic records of all recruitment-related materials in ADP and/or Jobvite.
  • Expand knowledge of Jobvite through self-learning, training sessions, and collaboration with management, providing guidance to hiring managers on using the system.
  • Review and understand analytics on the Employee Experience (EX) Dashboard related to recruitment metrics like turnover and time to fill.
Community Engagement and Representation 
  • Volunteer in the community to show support for local neighborhoods.
  • Establish contacts with staffing agencies and other recruiting resources, actively seeking opportunities to represent Clearview at community recruitment events.
  • Stay updated on new recruitment strategies and expand knowledge through resources like LinkedIn Learning and collaborate with the Manager of Talent Acquisition
  • Review job ads on platforms like Indeed and Glassdoor for accuracy and report any negative reviews to the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Administrative and Team Support 
  • Handle all administrative responsibilities associated with recruiting.
  • Cross-train on various aspects of the EX department to provide support to the EX team and employees.
  • Inform the Manager of Talent Acquisition, Director of Talent Management and VP of EX of key updates and important information.
  • Attend department meetings, staff meetings, and training programs as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must be dependable with a good attendance record.
