As a PIMCO Managed Accounts Client Service Associate, you will primarily be responsible for fulfilling a variety of highly important client requests primarily initiated by Clients and Advisors, all while maintaining the team’s goal of deepening the trust our clients have placed in the firm. Further, you will operate as a liaison between our external clients and our internal investment professionals.
The Managed Accounts Client Service Associate position provides a unique opportunity to join a premier client service team tasked with providing white glove service to one of the largest and well respected RIAs in the industry. This dedicated team will provide a wide range of services from account onboarding to money movements to general portfolio maintenance services. This is a rare opportunity to learn (or sharpen) a variety of client service skills with the ability to be innovative and pioneer new approaches. This is a direct client facing team, providing further an opportunities to develop and hone client relationship skill sets.
Principal Duties and Essential Functions:
  • Properly document all aspects of the new account opening process, including, but not limited to, pre-filling new account custodial paperwork and investment management agreements, confirming accurate completion of client documents, and reviewing account set up for accuracy.
  • Take initiative in finding innovative solutions to resolve account matters and sensitive client interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams within the firm – including firm management – to resolve and follow up on client requests and issues, as well as provide support as needed.
  • Participate in client meetings as an operational and service expert as needed.
  • Assist in general administrative duties such as answering phones, directing phone calls, and other duties as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
  • 2+ of experience in the Client Service arena, preferably within financial services.
  • Very high degree of accuracy, strong detail orientation and considerable problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple parties, work independently, balance multiple deadlines, and remain detail oriented and well organized.
  • Mature, innovative, self-starter with a strong aptitude to learn, willingness to take ownership of areas of responsibility, and strong desire to successfully see tasks from start to finish.
  • Extremely high level of integrity, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a “client first” attitude.
  • Working knowledge of operations and client service preferred; FINRA registrations are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mature, innovative, self-starter with a strong aptitude to learn, and considerable willingness to take ownership of areas of responsibility.
  • High level of professionalism, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and a “client first” attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in and contribute to a dynamic, fast paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM preferred.
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 73,000.00 - $ 79,000.00
