Degreed is looking for a Client Success Director, Strategic Accounts to join our Client Success team to support our largest enterprise accounts in the US. This role is responsible for bringing Degreed's unique capabilities, best practices and digital transformation experience to meet our customer's business objectives.
In this role, you will be cultivating close relationships with senior customer executives while developing a strong understanding of business needs. You will be accountable for driving adoption and usage of the Degreed platform, stakeholder alignment and advising on change management to leverage our products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring Client Success expertise along with knowledge of Talent Management, L&D, or HR products and services. This role reports to our Director, Client Success - Strategic Accounts.
- Work intensively with a select client portfolio to analyze needs and develop a strategy to reach client goals
- Ensure user engagement with the Degreed platform and drive overall customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate insight into business issues and trends along with industry and customer implications
- Build open communication channels with key client stakeholders
- Identify expansion opportunities to enhance client's existing contract
- Strategically plan, track and report on key performance indicators.
- Partner and collaborate across different departments within Degreed to quickly address client needs; namely Technical Consulting, Engagement, Content Services, Product, Engineering and Sales
- Other duties as assigned
- 8+ years experience in client success and/or account management
- Client Success expertise along with knowledge of Talent Management, L&D, or HR products and services
- A successful track record of engagement with multiple customers and points of contact
- Experience leading or implementing programs related to performance management, skills and competency mapping, talent acquisition, career pathing, learning and development or other similar talent management domains
- Must have experience working with and having regular contact with C-Level executives
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, organize, and operate in a fast moving, entrepreneurial start-up environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to examine, synthesize, and present data to various stakeholders (customers and partners)
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills. Able to effectively articulate a unique value proposition that resonates with customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of a customer or partner organization

Degreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location (when it is safe to return to the office). This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
