Software Engineer, Distributed Systems (Go and/or Rust)

Cloudflare is seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer to help build a better Internet and enhance performance and security for millions of websites. The ideal candidate is curious, empathetic, and skilled in programming.

Skills

Strong systems-level programming skills
Experience debugging high volume production systems
Understanding of protocol levels and security issues
Knowledge of multiple programming languages, especially Go and Rust

Responsibilities

Build and operate software for high-performance distributed systems
Optimize complex solutions for customer requirements
Work on a variety of engineering teams focused on different products
Design and implement secure, robust systems at scale

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
