The CNC Operator Opportunity

Veev is looking for a CNC operator to work on our solid surface CNC router, in our new 500,000 SQFT factory in Hayward, CA. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for a highly organized, methodical person with a proven track record of experience and success seeking an excellent opportunity for career development.

In this Role, You Will:

• Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations as well as to quality assurance procedures.

• Maintaining the CNC machine

• Setting up the machine and tools, loading and un-loading material

• Programming - entering instructions into machine SW, or enRoute/illustrator to create layout file, perform zero & reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, proving part programs.

• Monitoring and adjusting machine as required during production

• Verifying settings, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and editing/reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools.

• Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment

• Experience with Fusion360 software

• Experience with CNC HAAS machines

• High school or a technical School education

• Well organized, pay attention to details, methodical

• A Team player and a great collaborator

• A good communicator – verbally and written

• Able to stand for extended periods of time and to carry up heavy loads.

• With a proven experience in Generating and editing of CNC Programs and working on CNC’s, CNC routers or similar equipment.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the hourly pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas. This role is also eligible for stock options, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
