Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with 3+ years' experience to play a pivotal role in advancing our cutting-edge cybersecurity platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs, using technical acumen and user research to be the voice of the customer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading tactical execution of product development and helping shape the roadmap. This position reports to the Director of Product Management and is primarily located in McLean, Virginia, offering the flexibility of remote work on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, detailed requirements and technical specifications that guide development in a test-driven environment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to scope, define, and specify intuitive, elegant, and functional new features.
  • Help build a robust product backlog.
  • Leverage technical expertise and user research to represent customer perspectives and ensure product features meet real-world demands.
  • Collaborate with product leadership to develop the roadmap and prioritize features

Product Delivery

  • Work with Director or Product Marketing and Engineering management to support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring products are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Operate comfortably in ambiguous environments while maintaining a strong bias for action by balancing between attention to detail and swift execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into actionable development and delivery plans.
  • Display ownership across every workstream, balancing business needs and engineering realities.
    • 3+ years of experience as a technical product manager/owner, particularly in SaaS.
    • Excellent written communication skills, specifically in developing clear and detailed requirements and technical specifications.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Healthy curiosity, thirst for knowledge, and excitement to get hands-on.

Preferred

    • Professional experience with cybersecurity products and solutions.
    • 2+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into compelling products
    • 2+ years of experience in technical writing
