Job Description

Coffman Engineers’ Spokane office has an immediate opening for a highly skilled, self-motivated Project Manager with at least ten years of experience. We are looking for innovative, results oriented individuals who value the highest standards of performance, collaborative teamwork, and excellence in service to our industry.   

Applicants should be well versed in electrical engineering for industrial projects involving instrumentation and controls and be comfortable performing consulting engineering while working on a multi-discipline engineering team. The successful candidate will be able to think conceptually and manage efforts on multiple projects that run concurrently. Experience with programmable logic controller (PLC) panel configurations and I/O connections, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and instrumentation wiring and settings is preferred.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field required
  • 10 to 15 years of professional experience
  • Repeated success in building a client base and relationships
  • Supervise and manage small to large‐sized electrical design and construction projects
  • Maintain favorable business relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Make routine project decisions regarding design and contracts
  • Understand budget, schedule, and quality aspects as related to construction projects
  • Marketing support skills including proposal preparation and presentations
  • Good verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and, if applicable, a working knowledge of computer‐aided drafting
  • Experience with commercial or industrial project design
  • Ability to work independently as well as delegate tasks to others

Expected annual salary of $100,000– $120,000
