Sr. Java Developer (Spring Boot/Mongo DB/GCP)Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Java Developer (Spring Boot/Mongo DB/GCP) with at least 10+ years' experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. We offer the most comprehensive digital engineering expertise and client-centric methodology for sustainable innovation.Location: Duluth, GA (Hybrid- 3 days Onsite)You must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Roles/Responsibilities•Play the role of a Sr. Developer or Lead and build microservices to handle large amount of data.•Design and implementation of software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Mongo DB and preferably GCP cloud to ensure high performance and scalability.•Propose designs to Architects and have design discussions with them•Play Tech anchor role and work with offshore for deliverables, review the deliverables•Be part of stand-up meetings•Provide design solutions and solve problems in case of issues•Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.Required Qualifications:•Possess strong knowledge and experience at least 10 years + in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB (Must Have).•Experience should include working on event-based systems.•Google Cloud PubSub experience is a plus. If any other cloud PubSub experience is okay.
