I am seeking a lawyer or a paralegal to help me file a small claims court lawsuit in Collin County, Texas for an insurance claim a construction company is refusing to pay. Last month, I was driving my 2021 Tesla on a public road when I hit an uncovered pothole, which caused over $2700 in damage to my car. The construction company has only offered to pay $1700; when I threatened to sue, they did offer $2100 but have refused to pay the full cost of the damages to my car.I have no problem showing up to court, or submitting documents to the city, but I do not have experience dealing with small claims court and am looking for assistance from an expert in this matter in order to try to get the insurance company to pay. Wanting to get started ASAP.
