Vice President, M&A and Securities Counsel (Hybrid)
Axon is on a mission to protect life. They are seeking a dynamic Vice President of M&A and Securities Counsel with significant experience in advising public companies on M&A and securities reporting.
Skills
- Legal expertise in M&A and securities law
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Assist the CLO in managing Axon’s legal and compliance teams
- Develop and implement the legal strategy for M&A activities
- Advise on Securities laws and reporting requirements
- Lead due diligence processes for potential transactions
- Identify and assess legal risks
- Manage external legal counsel as needed
- Prepare and present legal analyses on M&A activities
Education
- J.D. from an accredited institution
- Admission to a State Bar within the United States
