The Production Supervisor is accountable for efficiently leading production activities for a specific area of focus and developing collaborative partnerships with CP colleagues. This role should have the ability to deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include daily production schedule adherence, customer service, area financial performance, Quality, Microbiology, Environmental Health & Safety, Labor Relations, people and team development. The position has to be an effective and valuable member of the Focus Factory management team, to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results in the supervised area. It works within a structure that requires considerable collaborate with Planning and Warehousing. The Team Leader guides and empowers teams in the implementation of Category Supply Chain strategy.
Responsibilities include:
Forms, develops and mentors an operations team in a purposeful, performance based environment
Leads the team in completing key performance indicators (performance indicators) and keeps the plant advised about operations performance on a regular basis
Handles daily people issues, such as timekeeping, vacation, overtime and attendance
Collects data and identifies a daily strategy which improves product quality and efficiency
Coordinates the activity of operations and maintenance team members
Other job functions as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and leading teams
Solid understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email
Preferred:
Solid understanding of production and process equipment, preferably in a processing industry such as food, chemicals or pharmaceuticals
Ability to establish a specific course of action to accomplish goals through appropriate allocation of time and resources
Ability to clearly express ideas both orally and in writing

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
