Join the power movement as a Production Welder
This individual is responsible for performing manufacturing in-house welding work for cutting edge high-field superconducting magnets.
Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
Work 3 weekend nights
Rate of pay: $30 - $41 per hour + 30% differential

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is on the lookout for a dedicated Production Welder to join our innovative team in Devens, MA, working second shift on weekends. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technologies and are eager to contribute to the future of fusion energy, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Production Welder, you'll play a vital role in welding and inspecting large metallic structures for our high-field superconducting magnets. Your responsibilities will include reading and analyzing blueprints, setting up welding processes, and performing both hand and semi-automated welding tasks. With a competitive pay rate of $30 - $41 per hour plus a 30% shift differential, your expertise will be rewarded. You'll also get to provide valuable feedback to design engineers and troubleshoot manufacturing discrepancies to improve our processes. We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in various welding techniques including GMAW and GTAW, and a strong attention to detail.
