COMMUNITY MANAGER

Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $50 - 52 per hour

Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Manager to join their growing team. As a Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections, promoting engagement, and driving vibrant discussions within the user community. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to amplify the user experience, gather valuable insights, and advocate for our users' needs. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a proactive and positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies to foster a vibrant and supportive user community.
  • Moderate and curate user-generated content across various community platforms to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
  • Respond to user inquiries, feedback, and concerns, providing exceptional support and maintaining a strong brand presence.
  • Collaborate with product teams to gather user feedback and insights, advocating for user needs and driving product improvements.
  • Organize and lead virtual and in-person community events, webinars, and discussions to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking.
  • Monitor community trends, gather user feedback, and generate actionable reports for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to align community initiatives with broader marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Proven experience in community management, social media management, or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage and connect with users across various channels.
  • Strong understanding of online community platforms, social media tools, and trends.
  • Passion for technology and the ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
