🌟 About the role
As our first product marketing manager, you will report to our CEO and work with our head of marketing, product, and sales to craft the messaging, offers, and conversion funnels that move us to a new growth trajectory.
🚀 You will…
Work with the CEO and Head of Product to define a theory of the Market and our current position in it relative to competitors
Talk with customers directly to understand what problem they are trying to solve, what brought them into market, and how we can improve our messaging and offer.
Own the entire traffic-to-signup funnel, including volume metrics like lead growth and efficiency metrics like conversion rate, CPA, and payback period
Manage the performance of our customer-facing website, including the full checkout flow, landing pages, and customer content
Demonstrate our company values every day - be customer-obsessed, execute with maniacal urgency, maintain an ownership mentality, have a bias towards action, stay efficient and resourceful, and always be kind and transparent with the team
Articulate and influence requirements for how the product, team, or strategy needs to change to unlock faster and more enduring growth
🏆 You have...
5+ years of marketing experience at high-tech, high-growth startups (bonus points if you were an early employee)
Owned the performance of multiple growth loops at the same time
Started from first principles to imagine and build a conversion funnel that meets customers where they are in their buying journey
Comfort reasoning and communicating from the highly-analytical to the highly-abstract and emotional
Experience working directly with engineers, designers, and data scientists and know how to be very effective with these resources
Superb storytelling ability that inspires and clarifies the specifics of our mission to build the most customer obsessed phone company in the world
An intrinsic and maybe impossible-to-contain-desire to build something insanely great
