Software Engineer, Fullstack/SRE (Brazil)

About the Role

At Commure + Athelas, our Electronic Health Record (EHR) team is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare technology by building innovative digital systems that empower healthcare providers with accurate, efficient, and real-time access to patient data. We are looking for a talented Fullstack Engineer to help us build monitoring/alerting systems and handle production incidents.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing and developing interfaces that drive key features of our EHR systems. Your work will have a direct impact on improving patient care, reducing errors, and streamlining healthcare workflows. What You’ll Do

  • Build end-to-end products to revolutionize the revenue cycle management process for providers

  • Be a part of a tremendously fast-paced team that celebrates fast execution and decision

  • Work across the entire software stack

  • Work with a stack that includes Python, TypeScript, and React

  • Build monitoring/alerting systems and deal with production incidents


What You Have

  • Able to cover non US working hours 

  • At least three years of software engineering experience in production

  • Expert in Python

  • Able to work on both frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, React) and backend (Python) in general and deliver product end-to-end

  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions (GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and cycles

  • Understand standard web-based technologies, such as restful standards and relational databases (eg, PostgreSQL)

  • Experience building monitoring/alerting systems and dealing with production incidents

  • Have a strong product engineering sense with a can-do builder attitude

  • Able to identify opportunities to improve the current process

  • Strong proficiency in the English language, including the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats.

  • Experience working in a fast pace environment (we ship fast)

  • Hands on experience with SRE and handling incidents
