Compliance Intern

About this opportunity

Compliance Office has the group responsibility for the three compliance areas: Antitrust (compliance with competition law), Anti-corruption (compliance with corruption and bribery law) and anti-money laundering (compliance with AML laws).

The Compliance Office within GF Legal Affairs & Compliance develop and maintain Ericsson’s ethics and compliance program. The Compliance Office also support compliance teams in the MAs or operational units, which are responsible for supporting and supervising the execution of the ethics and compliance program in all operating units and legal entities within the countries of responsibility.

As an intern you will support the daily operational functioning of the MANA Compliance program.

What you will do

• Support the compliance team in providing timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and analysis
• Provide support to the team in various projects
• Gain an understanding of the company’s Code of Business Ethics and core values
• Work with team members to accomplish function specific tasks and meet project deadlines
• Effectively perform legal & compliance research and analysis
• Develop an understanding of how legal & regulatory compliance help business units with strategy and overall goals
• Gain practical in-house experience in a variety of disciplines

You will bring

• A current student pursuing a JD in Law or a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Compliance
• Experience working in an international environment is a plus
• Fluent in English, and fluency in another language is a plus
