Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Conception, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and extending the GCP-based compute infrastructure, applying software and security updates, managing cloud-based data storage, and improving our PostgreSQL database. You’ll also be expected to build automated workflows and lead various infrastructure projects to support our bioinformatics team.

To thrive as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Conception, candidates should ideally have 3-5 years of relevant experience, a GCP Cloud Associate certification, and a solid background in Linux system administration. Proficiency in languages such as Terraform, bash, and Python, as well as familiarity with CI/CD, is highly beneficial.

A successful Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Conception should be well-versed in Terraform, Docker, and Nextflow, as well as automation tools for task scheduling. Additionally, experience with PostgreSQL database administration and workload managers like SLURM is strongly preferred.
