Advanced Practice Provider Relief - Psychiatry

Overview:The APP Relief role offers patients high-quality and cost-efficient care tailored to their requirements. This position involves evaluating patients, analyzing diagnostic information, and creating and executing treatment plans to meet patient needs. Collaborating with physician(s), this position also involves educating patients and families about medical issues and treatments on an as-needed basis for a brief period as per a contract or on-demand.Responsibilities:Conducts physical evaluations on individuals, examines their past medical records, and analyzes diagnostic findings to deliver appropriate care for the individual.Administers preventative health evaluations tailored to the individual's age, medical background, and specific requirements for proactive healthcare provision.Provides information to patients and their families regarding medical issues, treatment options, and post-care instructions.Keeps track of every detail of patient care to guarantee precise patient records.Carries out medical procedures following the protocols and clinical responsibilities of the department.Enhancing patient care involves analyzing, finding solutions for, and appraising clinical and system challenges to make improvements.Carries out additional tasks as required.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• Master's DegreeEXPERIENCE:Required: 3+ yearsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderValid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA licenseBoard Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
