A Manager, Connection Development leads a team of technical resources responsible for customer deliverables. This role oversees day-to-day operations to ensure incoming requests are handled in a timely manner, following best practice and quality assurance standards. A Manager, Connection Development is responsible for team performance and growth, providing feedback to optimize process and efficiencies, and influencing a positive team culture. This role partners closely with the customer-facing teams and their leaders to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded and works with the product and engineering teams to bridge the gap between our solutions and customers’ unique business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of technical resources and team leads responsible for customer deliverables including new system configuration, migrations, production adjustments, and queue management.
- Lead the process to estimate work effort for customer deliverables based on business requirements that provide clear guidance for all parties to align expectations. This includes documenting the scope of effort and technical designs.
- Support team leads in prioritization of projects and deliverables. This includes ensuring accurate recording of work hours using time-tracking tools and balancing demand of work with supply of resources.
- Leverage data to monitor trends, forecast future volume, and allocate resources accordingly to ensure optimal team performance and timely delivery of customer solutions.
- Adjust strategies, schedules, and or plans to meet priority customer demands, and overall to ensure deliverables and SLAs are being met based on emerging priorities or unforeseen circumstances.
- Serve as an escalation point to help resolve technical challenges and or prioritization conflicts to align with customer needs, departmental goals, and in partnership with other internal parties.
- Drive continuous improvement of overall effectiveness and efficiency by improving workflows, processes, and utilization of tools and frameworks.
- Communicate and cascade key messaging to team leads, counterparts, and key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and transparency at all levels.
- Mentor and coach team members by providing and promoting opportunities for skill development and career growth.
- Overall team performance including individual productivity, project outcomes, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.

- 5+ years of relevant corporate experience in a technical role with 3+ years of leadership responsibilities.
- Highly proficient in C# (or equivalent), Workato, and the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie).
- Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining complex technical documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Experience leading a team to success in an ever-changing environment.
