Ensure that Kroger standards are being adhered to. Ensure that education/code improvements are completed as part of the code review process and share within the team.· Follow defined branching strategies.· Act as a mentor to the dev team to ensure continuous growth of the team.· Assist the dev team with more complex troubleshooting / debugging needs.· Provide technical direction/architectural interpretation for the dev team.· Act as technical expert in discovery events by providing technical direction/architectural input.· Understand architectural vision from Kroger engineering and communicate that vision with the Consultant team.· Ensure consistency and alignment of developers’ technical decisions.· Act as primary technical point of contact to minimize noise and distractions on the Consultant team - primary point person.· Represent team in tech talks and ensure learnings/communications are funneled to the developers.· Accountable for their assigned GitHub code repositories and maintaining them in support of the branching strategy, dev branch updates, and pull requests.· Collaborate with Kroger to ensure clarity is gained on business ask/requirements.· Collaborate with Kroger architecture team to ensure clarity is gained on the overarching solution/design.· Lead technical conversations for planning events.· Act as the technical liaison for technical questions.· Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases.· Works with the Kroger Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code.· Adheres to Kroger standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services.
