Join us in driving excellence in the automotive industry.​​Give: "Share Generously" - We commit to generosity in every action, sharing our time, knowledge, and resources to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.Respect: "Value Every Voice" - We uphold a culture of respect, where every voice is valued and diversity is celebrated, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.Act: "Act with Integrity" - We take decisive action, guided by integrity and responsibility, to address challenges proactively and achieve our goals effectively.Innovate: "Embrace Creativity" - We embrace creativity and innovation, constantly seeking novel solutions and approaches to drive progress and stay ahead of the curve.Lead: "Inspire by Example" - We lead by example, inspire others through our dedication and passion, and strive to empower each team member to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, guided by integrity and responsibility to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements, taking decisive action to address any discrepancies proactively.Accounting Operations:• Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger, upholding a culture of respect for all team members involved.• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with integrity and responsibility.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, sharing knowledge and resources to foster a collaborative environment.Internal Controls:• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets, embracing creativity and innovation to improve processes.• Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures with respect and inclusivity.• Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support while leading by example.Financial Analysis:• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, constantly seeking novel solutions to drive progress.• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes with a commitment to generosity in sharing insights and recommendations.• Provide variance analysis and explanations for budget deviations, acting decisively to address issues.Team Collaboration:• Work closely with the Controller and other finance team members to achieve departmental goals, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, leading by example and inspiring others.• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, celebrating diversity and ensuring every voice is valued.Compliance and Taxation:• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, acting with integrity and responsibility.• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings, sharing knowledge and fostering a supportive environment.Continuous Improvement:• Identify opportunities for process improvements, embracing creativity and innovation.• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations, inspiring others through dedication and passion.• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, empowering the team to reach their full potential.• Perform other duties as assigned by a superior to support overall production success.Qualifications and Education Requirements• · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards.• Strong Excel modeling skills including building complex models from scratch.• Strong analytical skills and experience including use of spreadsheets and other analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI to analyze business metrics and to develop actionable information and conclusions from data.• The ability to create complex journal entries for new processes in a multi-divisional manufacturing and distribution organization.• Experience creating budgets in a multi-division organization.• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• · Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Previous experience in manufacturing company.• Experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, or business development can be beneficial.• Experience in implementing change management processes within the finance function.• Strong ethical standards and judgment to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrit• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.We offer a great benefits:• Dental Insurance• Health Insurance• Vision Insurance• Paid Holidays• Paid Time Off• Quarterly Bonus• AFLAC• Life Insurance & Voluntary Life Insurance• 401(k) with match• Flexible Spending Account (FSA)• Health Savings Account (HSA)• Short Term & Long Term Disability• Fitness Membership• Employee Assistance Program• Fun and supportive work environment!Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:• 401(k)• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Employee assistance program• Flexible spending account• Health insurance• Health savings account• Life insurance• Paid time off• Vision insurancePhysical Setting:• OfficeSchedule:• Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:• Quarterly bonusWork Location: In person
