Job Title: 502 Sales Support, Retail AccountsLocation: Bellingham, WAEmployment Status: Part-time/Full-time/Non-exemptJob SummaryWe are seeking a candidate to work as an ambassador and sales point of contact for our established brand of licensed cannabis products. Having a well-developed presence on the phone and in person, along with a high level of confidence in initiating conversations is essential to fulfilling the daily duties of our brand representatives. Aside from a social and positive personality, we are looking for self-starters and proactive problem solvers who are interested in growing with us.We are open to hiring either part-time or full-time for this position, depending on the individual and what experiences, qualifications and goals they bring to the table! Those with both part-time and full-time availability should apply if interested!As a vendor liaison, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with our wholesale B2B customers in conjunction with presenting the brand at customer-facing events and promotions. The preferred candidate must build trust and act as support for existing clients as well as dig in to research and outreach for new prospects, ensuring engagement leading to future sales. As a part of the Sales Team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and work side by side with our existing Sales staff, Company Coordinator and Logistics Team.Experience or background in B2B sales is a plus, but not required.Essential Functions• Conduct weekly administrative duties such as: outreach calls and emails; maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts using CRM software platforms.• Travel within prospective areas to maintain relationships with existing accounts; schedule Vendor Days and host company booths, provide order delivery support and other educational opportunities with the public and budtenders.• Deliver product orders thoughtfully and compliantly; collect payments from vendors during delivery transactions.• Educate customers on how products can benefit them, along with distinctions of our brand and ethos in the cannabis marketplace through meetings, vendor events and email/phone outreach.• Convert sales for our wholesale products to customers within your given assignment, which can be determined by weekly ordering cycle/assigned geographical location, etc.• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and 502 conditions to understand account needs and report marketplace feedback to team for the purposes of promoting the business.• This list is not meant to be all-inclusive and we reserve the right to modify responsibilitiesNecessary Qualifications and Experience• One (1) year of experience in similar position, ideally experience around a food or manufacturing environment; a WA Food Handler’s Card is required upon confirmation of hire within the first 30 days of onboarding.• Clean driving record and drivers license/ability to attain licensing to operate a company motor vehicle for travel to retail locations, meetings, vendor events, etc. Must carry valid personal vehicle insurance.• Well-organized and apt in adhering to routines, keeping notes of interactions, self-starting and motivated to work independently but able to remain team focused.• Capable of shifting gears to support with other departments as needed; will receive additional training in the Packaging & Fulfillment Department in order to support product knowledge.• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on account needs, but typically Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday for special events, or around the scheduling parameters you create for recurring store events and delivery needs. The schedule may include early mornings, nights, and weekends that rotates to support the business.Necessary Skills• Must be 21+ to comply with applicable industry laws• A team player, high-energy, dedicated individual with a passion for details• Ability to move 25-50lbs, with assistance• Ability to sit/stand stationary for intermittent periods of time while completing tasks• Ability to perform basic math such as multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction without error• Ability to regularly and safely traverse the warehouse regularly• High school diploma or equivalent experienceIndividual Contributor with no direct reports.
