The CFO will be responsible for advising management on financial objectives, coordinating and directing financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities, and ensuring compliance with federal and state financial regulations. This role involves in-depth financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and cash flow management. The CFO will also be involved in procurement, developing budget guidelines, and managing banking services. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality, manage a variety of financial and business systems, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in business or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates holding a CPA license. A minimum of 5 years' of senior-level experience in a complex financial management role is required, with a background in a public school district setting being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, supervision, and mentoring of professional staff, as well as experience in capital improvement projects and working directly with a Board of Directors.
